(Serves 4)

• 2 large bitter melons
• 8oz (230g) ground pork
• 1 tsp fish sauce (plus to taste)
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 3~4 cups (720ml ~ 960ml) chicken broth (or pork broth)
• 1 bulk green onion
• 1 bulk cilantro

• 8oz (230g) thịt heo xay
• 1 tsp muỗng cà phê nước mắm (thêm để nêm)
• ¼ tsp muỗng cà phê muối
• ¼ tsp muỗng cà phê tiêu xay
• 3~4 cups (720ml ~ 960ml) nước dùng gà (nước dùng heo)
• 1 bó hành
• 1 bó ngò
